Hopewell Township Monthly Meeting

7:30 pm

The meeting was called to order by Jeffrey Norris. Those present were Ralph Karns, Bev Shaffron, Melissa Thomas, Dan Ritchey, John Reed, Jr Cottle, Fred Sherlock, Charlie Whitman and Bill Morris.

 The minutes were read and approved.

The township treasurer’s report was read.  Ralph motioned to approve, Bev second and all were in favor.

The sewer treasurer’s report was read.  Ralph motioned to approve, Bev second and all were in favor.

Old Business

Jeff motioned to appoint Brad Allison and Lee Oswalt and Associates as township Solicitors.  Bev second and all were in favor.
Jeff motioned to appoint John Gillen as Seo Alternate.  Bev second and all were in favor.
Jeff informed the public that two bus stop signs have been placed at the West Cyper and Plank Rd intersection, near the home of the Westphals.

 New Business

 Ralph motioned to rescind the McIlnay/Whitman sub-division due to change of right of way.  Bev second and all were in favor.

 Bev motioned to approve the new McIInay/Whitman minor sub-division.  Ralph second and all were in favor.

 Ralph motioned to amend the real estate transfer tax ordinance.  Bev second and all were in favor.

 Bev motioned to pay bills. Ralph second and all were in favor.

 Meeting ended 8:05 pm.
